News Discount Seats Now Available for Rosie's Broadway Belters A limited number of discounted seats are now available for the April 11 concert Rosie's Broadway Belters at the Zipper Theatre.

Theatre enthusiast and former talk-show host O'Donnell has reserved the Zipper's rear mezzanine for those who could not afford the otherwise sold-out performance. Forty seats, priced at $40 apiece, will be available at the theatre's box office two hours before the 8 PM performance. One ticket will be given per person on a first-come, first-served basis.

The evening, which marks O'Donnell's return to stand-up comedy, will feature musical direction by Seth Rudetsky and will boast the talents of Farah Alvin, Michael Arden, Elaine Brier, Alix Korey, Norm Lewis, Euan Morton, Orfeh, Shayna Steele and Marty Thomas.

About the one-night-only event, O'Donnell said in a statement, "Back in the days of ‘The Ed Sullivan Show,’ when New York City was the home to live primetime television and the world’s entertainment capitol, the incredible talents of Broadway — the Ethel Mermans and Barbra Streisands — were able to be seen and appreciated by everyone. I want to do an evening has that same feeling that show did and to throw a party that celebrates the theatre industry’s very best singers. And this evening of music and comedy will help Rosie’s Broadway Kids share this life-altering love of Broadway with children who live in this city but who do not have access to it."

Founded by O'Donnell in 2003, Rosie's Broadway Kids is a not-for-profit arts education organization "dedicated to enriching the lives of New York City public school children through the arts."

The Zipper Theatre is located at 336 West 37th Street. Tickets, priced at $250, are available by calling (212) 703-7400. Tickets include a post performance cocktail party with O'Donnell and cast at Al Sur.
