A collage of quotes, from “Go everywhere. Do everything” to American Eagle ad language, dissolves as the show’s title and an image of Mary herself “fly” on the scene to announce the curtain times for each day’s performances and to direct viewers to the New Amsterdam Theatre to purchase tickets.
The New Amsterdam Theatre is located at 214 West 42nd Street. Mary Poppins premiered on Broadway in 2006 and won a Tony Award for Bob Crowley’s scenic design.
