Presented through Sept. 15, audiences have the chance to witness iconic numbers like "Be Our Guest" in 3D. Each screening also promises a live appearance by "Belle." This new 3D version of "Beauty and the Beast" will also be released on Blu-ray on Oct. 4.

Nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture, "Beauty and the Beast" first debuted in theatres in 1991. It has a screenplay by Linda Woolverton and a score by Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken and late lyricist Howard Ashman. The two won Oscars for Best Original Score and Best Song (for the title number).

Among the notable voices in the film are Paige O'Hara (Belle), Robby Benson (Beast), Angela Lansbury (Mrs. Potts), Jerry Orbach (Lumiere), Richard White (Gaston) and Jo Anne Worley (Wardrobe).

The film was also adapted and expanded into a 1994 stage musical, which ran for 5,461 performances on Broadway.
