International News Disney's Frozen Musical to Play London's West End, Australia, and Germany Disney Theatrical Productions announced the international plans in the week of the stage adaptation's first anniversary on Broadway.

As Frozen prepares to celebrates one year on Broadway, the Disney musical also has eyes on Europe and Australia. The stage adaptation of the animated hit will open in London and Australia in 2020 and Germany in the following year.

As previously reported, Frozen will play the Capitol Theatre in Sydney in July 2020. Later that fall, the musical will open the newly refurbished Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London's West End. A production will also play Hamburg in 2021 at a theatre to be announced.

No word yet on exact dates or casting.

Frozen, featuring a score by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and a book by Jennifer Lee (reuniting after collaborating on the 2013 film), opened at Broadway's St. James Theatre March 22, 2018, going on to earn four Tony nominations including Best Musical.

The Michael Grandage-helmed production features choreography by Rob Ashford, sets and costumes by Christopher Oram, lighting by Natasha Katz, and sound design by Peter Hylenski.
