The animated film musical premieres later this month.

Moana, the new Walt Disney Pictures animated film musical, will make its world premiere during the American Film Institute Fest in Los Angeles, but the producers have released another song clip from the show, “How Far I'll Go,” featuring music and lyrics by Hamilton author Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The precise screening date for the film has not been announced. The festival runs November 10-17. The film’s soundtrack is scheduled for release on CD November 18, and the film is scheduled to open in cinemas across the U.S. November 23, at the start of Thanksgiving weekend.

“How Far I'll Go” was written by Miranda, and the end-credit version of the song is performed as a music video by Canadian singer/songwriter and Def Jam recording artist Alessia Cara. The full-length music video was directed by Aya Tanimura and can be watched here on VEVO:

Disney had previously released a clip from the film Moana, featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson singing “You’re Welcome,” a song written by Miranda.

Moana “tells the story of a teenage girl from 2,000 years ago who sets sail to find a fabled island. She is joined by the demigod Maui,” voiced by Johnson. The film also features songs by Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa'i.

Phillipa Soo, Tony-nominated for her work in the Broadway smash Hamilton, joins her co-star, Miranda, in the film.

Soo, who played Hamilton's long-suffering wife Eliza in the stage musical, plays a villager of Motunui, Moana’s home island, in the film. Soo was the original Natasha in the Off-Broadway hit Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 and can be heard on the original cast album.

Moana, Disney's newest princess, has the voice of 14-year-old Mililani, HI, native Auli’i Cravalho. Cravalho was discovered while singing at a charity event in Oahu.
