News Dobrowsky to Replace Watson as Trinity Rep Associate Artistic Director Tyler Dobrowsky has been named the new associate artistic director of Providence's Trinity Repertory Theatre.

Dobrowsky, who served as the education director at Trinity Rep, will join current artistic director Curt Columbus. Dobrowsky succeeds Craig Watson, who departed his position of associate artistic director after 15 years.

"Craig Watson's presence will be missed by all of the staff and artists at Trinity Rep. His contribution to Trinity is incalculable, since during the past decade and more, he has nurtured numerous writers, produced plays, readings and workshops, and championed the work that has appeared on our stages. We are all grateful for his remarkable service to the theater," Columbus said in a statement.

He continued, "Tyler Dobrowsky has made enormous enhancements to the programming in that area, as well as working behind the scenes on productions here at Trinity during that entire tenure. His energy, intelligence, and vision are evident in all of his work, and his presence as associate artistic director will assure that education remains front and center in all of our programming efforts."

Dobrowsky began as an intern at Trinity Rep in 2003. He received his MA in Education Policy from Brown University.
