Maria By Callas, a new film about legendary opera singer Maria Callas (also the subject of Terrence McNally's Tony-winning play Master Class), tells the diva's life entirely via her own words. Director Tom Volf uses performances, TV interviews, home movies, family photographs, private letters, and unpublished memoirs to share her life story from Callas' perspective. Opera star Joyce DiDonata voices the segments that did not have recordings of Callas available.
