News Dominic Cooper in Talks to Join Cast of Roger Donaldson's "Cities" Film Stage and screen actor Dominic Cooper is in final talks to join the cast of writer-director Roger Donaldson's international thriller "Cities," according to Variety.

Cooper will replace Clive Owen, who dropped out of the project due to scheduling issues. The cast also includes Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst and Anil Kapoor. "Cities" takes place in the months before the Dow Jones stock-market high, intertwining the stories of characters around the globe, including a New York hedge fund manager, a Mumbai police officer and a couple buying a home in London.

Filming is scheduled to begin in the spring in London, Mumbai and New York. Matthew Metcalfe and Chris Curling are producing "Cities"; Julie Christie is executive producer.

Cooper, who played the role of Sky in the movie musical "Mamma Mia!," was seen on Broadway in The History Boys, for which he received a 2006 Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play. His other film credits include "My Week With Marilyn," "Captain America" and "The Devil's Double," among others.
