Veteran Broadway music director Pippin will go behind the scenes of Broadway’s biggest hits at Feinstein’s/54 Below.

Don Pippin, the Tony Award-winning Broadway music director and conductor who worked on the original Broadway productions of Oliver!, Mame, Dear World, Mack & Mabel, La Cage aux Folles, A Chorus Line, Woman of the Year, and Applause, will recount highlights of his historic Broadway career in What I Did For Love: The Music & Memories of Don Pippin, October 30 at Feinstein’s/54 Below.
Tony winner Debbie Gravitte will join Pippin for the concert.
Pippin began his Broadway career in 1955, writing additional dance music for Ankles Away. He made his Broadway conducting debut with Irma La Douce in 1960, and went on to win the Tony Award in 1963 for Best Conductor and Musical Director.
