McKechnie, who earned her Tony for A Chorus Line and appeared in the original production of Sondheim's Company and the acclaimed Paper Mill Playhouse revival of Follies, will take part in the 7 PM concert. She will be joined by Lisa Asher, Harris Doran, Kevin Dozier, John Treacy Egan, Larry Hamilton, Lorinda Lisitza, Julie Reyburn and Jason Williams.
Phil Geoffrey Bond will host the evening, which will feature musical direction by Mark Hartman.
Sondheim Unplugged features an array of cabaret and theatre performers, as well as special guest stars who originated roles in Sondheim musicals. The performers are solely accompanied by piano.
