Don’t Miss This Broadway Mashup With Britain’s Got Talent Winners, Collabro | Playbill

Video Don’t Miss This Broadway Mashup With Britain’s Got Talent Winners, Collabro Playbill caught up with the musical theatre group for some fun in the studio.

Collabro, the U.K.-based musical theatre group and winners of Britain's Got Talent, recently celebrated the launch of their third album, Home. “Don’t Rain On My Parade,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Send in the Clowns,” and “He Lives in You,” are just a handful of the classic tunes featured on their latest release.

Playbill caught up with Collabro while they were in New York, and couldn’t resist getting them in the studio for a Broadway mashup. Watch the video to see all the fun the boys had with Playbill vlogger Tyler Mount, and read their answers to our lightning-round Q&A below.

When did you first fall in love with musical theatre?
Matthew Pagan: When I went to see Mary Poppins on tour when I was 12.
Jamie Lambert: When I was six, my mom took me to see Les Miz on tour and I fell in love with it.
Michael Auger: When I was five I saw my sister in a production of Annie and I thought: I’d quite like to be up on stage. I want to be Annie.
Thomas J. Redgrave: Growing up, my parents always used to watch the musical movie Oliver! and I just wanted to be Oliver.

What is your favorite show?
MP: Miss Saigon
JL: It changes every week but I would say, right now, In The Heights.
MA: I don’t know if it’s my favorite show, but I really enjoyed Legally Blonde. I saw it with Sheridan Smith on the West End and she was brilliant.
TJR: I really like Into the Woods.

The cast album you’ll never tire of?
MP: Miss Saigon. I will never, ever get tired of that music. I just cry.
JL: The original Broadway recording of Nine.
MA: Ghost.
TJR: I quite like Avenue Q.

A show on Broadway that you can’t wait to see?
All: Anastasia.
JL: And Waitress.

If you could dream cast yourself in a show what would it be?
MP: Either Enjolras in Les Miz, or Frankie Valley or Tommy DeVito in Jersey Boys.
JL: It would be the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera or Javert in Les Miz.
MA: Link Larkin from Hairspray or Marius in Les Miz.
TJR: I’d quite like to be Emmett from Legally Blonde because I think it would be really fun, or Jack in Into The Woods.
