The 17th Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards will be presented Monday June 24 at 8 PM. at the Elgin Theatre, 189 Yonge Street, Toronto. The ceremony for the Doras (Toronto's Tonys) will be directed by Layne Coleman and will be joined by writers Drew Hayden Taylor, Deborah Kimmet, and Jason Sherman. The evening will be hosted by Linda Griffiths and Richard Monette. The set designer is Glenn Davidson.
In addition to the 36 theatre and dance awards, the following special awards will be presented:
The Silver Ticket Award, the Pauline McGibbon Award, the Brenda Donohue Award, and for the first time, the Barbara Hamilton Award.
