News Drake's Production of 2 Boys in a Bed to Play Dublin Gay Theatre Festival The Provincetown, MA production of James Edwin Parker's 2 Boys in a Bed on a Cold Winter's Night — directed by Obie Award winner David Drake — will be presented as part of the upcoming ABSOLUT Dublin Gay Theatre Festival.

The May 4-9 run at the Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin will mark the play's Irish premiere and will feature the Provincetown cast: Scott Douglas Cunningham and Spencer Keasey (aka gay adult film star Spencer Quest). The show will be staged alongside entries from 11 different countries in the 2009 festival, which runs May 4-17.

"Set in January 1987 in a Greenwich Village apartment in NYC," 2 Boys in a Bed on a Cold Winter's Night, according to press notes, "explores the emotions, needs and desires that emerge between two gay men after a one-night stand. Performed without intermission, the play runs 70 minutes. The production contains nudity and sexual situations."
