The Drama Book Shop will celebrate Bobbi Owen’s The Designs of William Ivey Long—the 12th and final book in The United States Institute for Theatre Technology’s series documenting the work of America’s best theatrical designers—April 19.

The book signing and discussion with Tony-winning costume designer Long and author Owen is scheduled to begin at 5 PM and continue to 7 PM.

The monograph recounts Long’s career from its earliest days and contains a chronology of his nearly 350 production credits—and six Tony Awards. More than 100 illustrations are featured, and the appendices contain his awards and honors and the exhibitions where his designs and costumes have been displayed.
