It's time to spread out the red and white checked tablecloth at the Greenwich House as Off-Broadway's Drama Dept. holds its second annual "Company Picnic." The year's event will take place July 30 at 7 PM and will be followed by a talent show at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on Christopher Street. All of the food at the potluck will be made (or, in a few cases, bought) by Drama Dept. members. Among the more labor-intensive dishes of last summer were Maker's Mark mint juleps mixed by Patricia Clarkson (Three Days of Rain) and onion tarts baked by composer Stephen Flaherty (Seussical). Taking a slightly easier route were actors Dylan Baker (tuna fish sandwiches) and Billy Crudup (baked beans). Somewhere in the middle is playwright Douglas Carter Beane and his "three Beane salad." Beane is the author of the troupe's current attraction, Music From a Sparkling Planet.

All proceeds go directly to the Greenwich House Restoration Fund. Tickets for all the festivities (dinner and talent show) are $250 each. Tickets for the talent show only are $125.00. For more information, call Drama Dept. at (212) 633-9108.
