News Drama Desk Panel Honors Caricaturist Sam Norkin, Dec. 5 Caricaturist Sam Norkin will be the focus of a Dec. 5 luncheon sponsored by the organization of theatre reporters, editors and critics, Drama Desk.

The event, to take place at noon of Sardi's (234 W. 44th St., third floor) will feature theatre critic Howard Kissel, past Drama Desk president Peter Filichia, and actress Marian Seldes. The luncheon will be moderated by Leslie (Hoban) Blake, vice president of  Drama Desk, and Randie Levine Miller, director of Drama Desk Special Events. Norkin has been a Drama Desk member for 47 years. Recently, the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center presented a retrospective of his half-century as a caricaturist, "Theater.Ink: The Art of Sam Norkin."
