News Drowsy Chaperone, Guys and Dolls, Souvenir and Amadeus Are Kline Award Winners The fifth annual Kevin Kline Awards, honoring the best theatre in the greater St. Louis area, were presented March 22 at the Loretto Hilton Center on the campus of Webster University.

The Kline Awards recognized 40 theatre companies and 125 productions with nominations in 22 different categories. Stages St. Louis was the most nominated of the area theatre companies.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis took eight Kline Awards, the most of any company. The Rep productions of Souvenir and Amadeus tied for Outstanding Production of a Play.

Stages St. Louis took six honors, including productions of The Drowsy Chaperone and Guys and Dolls, which tied for Outstanding Production of a Musical.
