News Dumb Show Plays Off-Broadway's Under St. Marks Theatre Beginning Feb. 11 The Lighthouse Theatre Company's production of Dumb Show begins previews Feb. 11 at the Under St. Marks Theatre.

Tracy Trevett directs Joe Penhall's dark comedy, which will officially open Feb. 13 at 8 PM. The cast features Anthony Caronna as Greg, Alexander Smith as Barry and Heather Daley as Liz.

Dumb Show, according to press notes, concerns "Barry, a hapless TV comic [who] hopes to laugh all the way to the bank when he's courted by financial execs, John and Jane, promising fat fees and five star treatment that he deserves. Barry is instead urged by the bankers to give a candid account of his life and views. The Barry that emerges is the least of the surprises in the tense game power and manipulation that ensues."

The production features set design by director Trevett, lighting design by Kirsten Glove and costume design by Brittany Holmes.

Show times are Thursday-Saturday at 8 PM, Wednesday at 7 PM and Sunday at 3 PM.

The limited engagement plays through Feb. 21. Under St. Marks Theatre is located in Manhattan at 94 St. Marks Place (between First Avenue and Avenue A). For tickets, priced $10, call (212) 868-4444 or visit www.smarttix.com.
