Notable playwrights such as Tina Howe, Christopher Durang, Lonnie Carter and Eduardo Machado are taking part in the return of a popular discussion series at New York's New Dramatists, being given four consecutive Tuesdays, Sept. 14-Oct. 5.
Titled, "You Can Make a Life: Conversations With Playwrights 1999," the panels are moderated by Mary Gallagher and run 6-8 PM at the organization's home, 424 West 44th Street.

* Sept. 21: Lonnie Carter, Tina Howe, Jacquelyn Reingold, Edwin Sanchez.
* Sept. 28: Neena Beber, Steve Carter, Christopher Durang, Ruth Margraff.
* Oct. 5: Gordon Dahlquist, Catherine Filloux, Charles Mee, Lynn Nottage.
