News Durang, Bishop and Rich Remember Wasserstein on “Charlie Rose” Feb. 6 Four friends and colleagues will remember their friend, playwright Wendy Wasserstein, on the Feb. 6 edition of “The Charlie Rose Show.”

Wasserstein died on Jan. 30 at the age of 55. Guests will be playwright Christopher Durang, Lincoln Center Theater artistic director Andre Bishop, New York Times columnist Frank Rich and film producer and Tribeca Film Festival official Jane Rosenthal.

Durang and Wasserstein became friends while attending Yale University together. Bishop, as head of first Playwrights Horizons and then LCT, produced most of Wasserstein’s plays. During his tenure as chief drama critics at the Times, Rich regularly recused himself from reviewing Wasserstein’s plays, owing to their friendship.

“The Charlie Rose Show” airs in the metropolitan area on WNET-Channel 13 at 11 PM ET; check local listings.
