News Durang, Kron, Son, Norman and Shanley Set for “Working in the Theatre” Seminar The American Theatre Wing's "Working in the Theatre" seminars will continue on Feb. 16 with an afternoon devoted to the playwright.

The noon-1:30 PM seminar will be held in the Elebash Recital Hall at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Ted Chapin, president of the Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization, will moderate the discussion, which will feature playwrights Christopher Durang (Miss Witherspoon), Lisa Kron (Well), Marsha Norman (The Color Purple), John Patrick Shanley (Defiance) and Diana Son (Satellites). Other "Working in the Theatre" seminars are set for April 21, April 28, May 5 and June 15. Topics and participants will be announced at a later date.

Created by the late American Theatre Wing chairman Isabelle Stevenson, the series, now in its 31st year, presents major theatre personalities discussing their craft. The "Working in the Theatre" series is broadcast five times a week on CUNY-TV (Time Warner channel 75 and RCN channel 24, 106 or 109).
