News Dylan Moran to Return to the West End Dylan Moran is bringing his comedic skills back to the West End.

Having scooped the 1996 Perrier Award for comedy at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, one of the world’s highest honors for a new comic, Moran set to show Londoners that, despite diversifying, his funny-bones have not softened yet. This is his second West End visit within a year. Since winning the Perrier, Moran has moved into both acting and writing. He appeared in the films “Shaun of the Dead,” “The Actors” and “Notting Hill” (playing a memorably ineffectual book-thief) and the TV series “How Do You Want Me?” and “Black Books,” which he also penned. “How Do You Want Me?” bagged Moran another big award, the 1999 British Comedy Awards prize for Best TV newcomer.

Moran played the West End when he brought his stand-up show Monster II to the Palace Theatre for a week-long run in May 2004. Such is the demand for Moran’s mockery that he’s bringing the show back, this time to the Wyndham’s between Nov. 1 and 13.
