News Early Edition of "The After Party" to Feature Q's Wheatley and Cities' Richards "The After Party," billed as "an informal midtown schmoozefest for the theatrically inclined," will offer a "pre-party" edition Nov. 7 beginning at 7:30 PM.

Avenue Q's Sharon Wheatley and A Tale of Two Cities' Devin Richards will be the evening's special guests. Both will be on hand to greet fans and perform. Hosted by Brandon Cutrell and Alysha Umphress, "The After Party" at the Laurie Beechman Theatre features Ray Fellman at the piano. Amateurs and professionals are invited to take turns at the open mic during the "Party," which continues to midnight. ("After Party" usually runs 10:30 PM-2 AM.)

Wheatley has also been seen on Broadway in Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and Cats. Her memoir is titled "'Til the Fat Girl Sings." Richards' other Broadway credits include 110 in the Shade, The Pajama Game, Wonderful Town, Seussical, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Life, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Victor/Victoria and Carousel.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street. There is no cover charge or minimum for "The After Party."
