Off-Broadway News Eboni Booth's Primary Trust Opens Off-Broadway May 25

William Jackson Harper and April Matthis lead the world premiere comedy.

The world premiere of Primary Trust by Eboni Booth officially opens Off-Broadway at the Laura Pels Theater in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre May 25 after beginning previews May 4. The Roundabout Theatre Company production will run through July 10.

The new comedy stars Emmy nominee William Jackson Harper (NBC's The Good Place), April Matthis (The Piano Lesson), Eric Berryman (Toni Stone), Jay O. Sanders (Girl From the North Country), and Luke Wygodny. 

Primary Trust centers on a recently laid-off bookstore employee (Harper) who is encouraged by a tiki bar waiter (Matthis) to try something new. Knud Adams directs. 

The creative team for Primary Trust includes scenic designer Marsha Ginsberg, costume designer Qween Jean, lighting designer Isabella Byrd, and sound designer Mikaal Sulaiman.
