News Eccentricities Cast Reads Tennessee Williams at Barnes and Noble April 15 Cast members from the first New York revival of Tennessee Williams' Eccentricities of a Nightingale will pay homage to the late playwright April 15 at the Barnes and Noble on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

Members of the Actors Company Theatre – which stages Eccentricities in its first New York revival since its 1976 Broadway debut – will read from Williams' letters, journal entries and script notes that were utilized to create the character of Alma, one of Williams' favorite dramatic characters who is present in both Eccentricities and Summer and Smoke. Eccentricities director Jenn Thompson will be on hand as well as cast members Mary Bacon (Alma Winemiller), Todd Gearhart (John Buchanan), Larry Keith (Rev. Winemiller), Darrie Lawrence (Mrs. Buchanan) and Nora Chester (Mrs. Winemiller).

The revival of Eccentricities of a Nightingale is scheduled for April 27-May 24 at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre. For tickets and further information visit www.tactnyc.org.
