News Eddie Korbich, Ann Sanders, Mike Longo, Alan H. Green Set for Reading of New Musical Quiet Clock An industry reading of the new children's musical The Quiet Clock will be presented Sept. 12 at Pearl Studios in Manhattan.

Directed by Adam Karsten with musical arrangements by Christine Riley, the reading will feature the talents of Eddie Korbich (The Drowsy Chaperone, Drama Desk nomination; Wicked; The Drowsy Chaperone; The Little Mermaid), Alan H. Green (Sister Act; Play On!), Ann Sanders (Beauty and The Beast; Avenue Q), Mike Longo, Gary Marachek, Ryan Migge, Morgan Smith, Matt Walsh, and Courtney White. The Quiet Clock, based on the book by Britt Nichols, was written by Adam Karsten.

The musical, according to press notes, is described as a "loveable children's musical that teaches lessons of honesty and individuality and that has enchanting traditional Swiss children's songs; comical scenarios; valuable moral themes, and delightful rhyming characters. Jump into the fairy tale story of Mr. Yawns who wakes with a shock to his blaring, bleeping alarm clock. It pings and it pongs all day long in his head, so loud and so stabbing it could wake up the dead! But Mr. Yawns is an amazing inventor who decides to solve his problem by inventing an alarm clock that does not ring. That's right, and alarm clock that does not ring!"
