The evening, which is chaired by Tony winner Laura Benanti, will feature Eden Espinosa (Brooklyn, Wicked), Jad Abumrad (NPR’s “Radiolab”), Julia Murney (Wicked), Tony Yazbeck (Gypsy, A Chorus Line), Telly Leung (Flower Drum Song, Pacific Overtures, Rent, “Glee”), Katy Pfaffl (War Horse), Jessica Hendy (Aida) and Michael John LaChiusa (composer/The Wild Party; Hello, Again).
In 2005 childhood friends Taye Diggs and Andrew Palermo founded dre.dance, a NYC-based contemporary dance company. As the company begins its seventh season, Diggs and Palermo's Broadway friends pay musical tribute to dre.dance and the two men who founded it.
