Regional News Eden Espinosa, Krysta Rodriguez, and Rachel Tucker Join Williamstown Theatre Festival Season Additional casting has been announced for the new musical Lempicka, and Theresa Rebeck’s latest comedy Seared.

Additional casting has been announced for the Williamstown Theatre Festival’s 2018 summer season, which will begin with the world premiere of Douglas Carter Beane’s The Closet, running June 26–July 14. The cast will include Ben Ahlers, Raymond Bokhour, and Will Cobbs.

Eden Espinosa, Natalie Joy Johnson, Justin Gregory Lopez, Steven Rattazzi, Michael McCorry Rose, Nathaniel Stampley, Kay Trinidad, and Rachel Tucker will star in the new musical Lempicka, from Carson Kreitzer and Matt Gould. Rachel Chavkin will direct the July 19–August 1 run. They join the previously announced Tony nominee Carmen Cusack.

Also announced are Ben Ahlers, Vinie Burrows, Will Cobbs, Louisa Jacobson, Tom Pecinka, Liv Rooth, Roslyn Ruff, and Logan Schuyler Smith for The Member of the Wedding (August 5–19); Will Hochman in The Sound Inside (June 27–July 8); Joshua Boone, Alfie Fuller, and Christopher Livingston in Artney Jackson (July 11–22); Tré Davis, Michael Esper, and Krysta Rodriguez in Seared (July 25–August 4); and Phillip James Brannon, Michael Braun, Alfie Fuller, and Samira Wiley in Dangerous House (August 8–19).

Williamstown is also planning An Evening With Chita Rivera on June 9 at 7:30 PM. Tickets benefit Williamstown’s New Play & Musical Development Initiative.

The Fridays@3 reading series will include Tell Me I’m Not Crazy by Sharyn Rothstein (July 6); Saying Goodbye To The People I Love From My Bathtub by Halley Feiffer (July 13); Long Lost by Donald Marguiles (July 20); Secret Soldiers with book by Marsha Norman and music and lyrics by Zoe Sarnak (July 27); and Selling Kabul by Sylvia Khoury (August 10). Additional plays by Meghan Kennedy (August 3) and Aziza Barnes (August 17), are also planned.
