Tony nominee Sheryl Kaller (Mothers and Sons, Next Fall) directed a cast that featured Golden Globe and Emmy winner Edie Falco, Golden Globe nominee Greta Gerwig, Josh Lucas (The Glass Menagerie, TV's "The Mysteries of Laura") and Daniel K. Isaac.

The Anatomy of Love is billed as "an explosive drama about two parents struggling over the gender transition of their seven-year-old daughter, Samantha. Laura and Danny Bradford are called to Samantha's school by her teacher, Ms. Spencer, because of an emergency: Samantha has bitten another child. Accusations fly about the source of Samantha's behavior, but Ms. Spencer identifies that there may be a new chapter beginning in Samantha's life that will shake the Bradfords to the core."

Malawer's other plays include Daddy Issues and The Chocolate Legacy. He has penned five novels, including the "Mystic City" series, and is an executive producer of the upcoming feature film "Fallen," directed by Academy Award nominee Scott Hicks.
