Before Company arrives at the Fringe Festival, however, it will make a stop at London's King's Head Theatre on July 23 for a one-night-only preview. Michael Strassen, a West End actor with numerous stage credits to his name — including the world premiere cast of Miss Saigon as well as Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd, Piaf and Jesus Christ Superstar — will direct the production for the Edinburgh Festival. Strassen's directorial credits include Ruthie Henshall's one-woman show as well as the controversial Pitchfork Disney.

A cast of veteran West End and regional actors will inhabit the "good and crazy people" of Company, including Antonio Mcardle (Robert), Abigail Rosser (Sarah), Tom Hyatt (Harry), Susan McCathie (Susan), Steven Craven (Peter), Daniella Gibb (Jenny), George Rae (David), Marisa Leigh Boynton (Amy), Paul Callen (Paul), Maryanne McCormack (Joanne), Tom Murphy (Larry), Alison Larnder (Marta), Katherine Eames (Kathy) and Helen George (April). Jenny Kent will serve as musical director.

Kenmac Productions produces the venture, after last year's success at Edinburgh with the Maltby and Shire song cycle Closer Than Ever.

For tickets to the London preview on July 23 at the King's Head Theatre, contact the box office at 020 7226 1916 or visit www.kingsheadtheatre.org

Company will be presented at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Aug. 12–27.
