News Edward Albee and Others To Give a Reading at NY's Algonquin, Nov. 24 Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee, writer and historic preservationist Brendan Gill and essayist Kennedy Fraser will read from Maeve Brennan's The Springs of Affection this evening, Nov. 24, at New York's famed Algonquin Hotel as part of the hotel's "The Spoken Word" series of readings and reminiscences.

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee, writer and historic preservationist Brendan Gill and essayist Kennedy Fraser will read from Maeve Brennan's The Springs of Affection this evening, Nov. 24, at New York's famed Algonquin Hotel as part of the hotel's "The Spoken Word" series of readings and reminiscences. Albee, the author of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, won the Drama Pulitzer three times: for A Delicate Balance, Seascape and Three Tall Women.

The program will begin at 6:30 PM at the Algonquin, 59 W. 44th St. Admission is $20, which excludes drinks and gratuity. For reservations, call (212) 840-6800.
