News Edward Albee Is Guest on "Downstage Center" Radio Show Feb. 8 Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Edward Albee, who will direct his plays The American Dream and The Sandbox Off-Broadway, will be heard on the Feb. 8 broadcast of XM Radio's "Downstage Center."

The American Theatre Wing and XM Satellite Radio present the interview with the famed playwright on the weekly theatrical show on XM's On Broadway (XM Channel 28). The show airs Feb. 8 at 6 PM with repeat broadcasts Saturday at noon, Sunday at 7 PM and Wednesday at 12 AM (ET). Albee talks about his current proliferation of productions on stage this season, his upcoming direction of the two aforementioned one-acts, his approach to playwriting, teaching the craft, the effect of his fame from Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and more.

The scribe's works also include The Goat or Who Is Sylvia?, Seascape, Peter and Jerry, Tiny Alice, A Delicate Balance, Three Tall Woman, The Lady From Dubuque, The Play About the Baby and Me, Myself and I.
