News Eigenberg Leaves Take Me Out July 20; De Santis on Deck The boys of summer in Broadway's Take Me Out are slowly going their own ways, with David Eigenberg exiting the Tony Award-winning play July 20.

Eigenberg has played Toddy Koovitz in the Broadway run Dominic Fumusa created the role in London and Off-Broadway.

Eigenberg is widely known for playing Steve, Miranda's boyfriend, on TV's "Sex and the City." In Take Me Out, he is replaced July 22 by Anthony Joseph De Santis, whose last appearance on stage was at HERE in Richard Vetere's Gangster Apparel. Film roles include "New Jack City," "Out For Justice," "Federal Hill," "Party Girl," "Kiss Me, Guido," "Double Parked" and "Cement."

Richard Greenberg's play about the incident-packed season of a Yankees-like ball team won 2003 Tonys for Best Play, Best Director (Joe Mantello) and Best Featured Actor in a Play (Denis O'Hare).

Performances continue at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
