El Mago Pop officially opens on Broadway August 20, after beginning previews for its two-week limited engagement August 17 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
Starring illusionist Antonio “El Mago Pop” Díaz (Magic for Humans, La Gran Illusion), the show features Díaz performing close-up magic and illusions. He is joined by Carla Capellas, Jaume Gomez, Silvia Arocha, Paula Costa, Darwin Alvarez, and Lidia Checa.
Featuring a script by Díaz, music selection by Jesús Díaz and Antonio Díaz, lighting design by Dani Bartomeu, sound design by Jordi Mateo, graphic and video design by Pep Marti, management by Pilar Pérez, and stage management by Carlos Fernandez, the production is directed by Mag Lari.
Díaz is the highest-grossing European illusionist in the world and has two Netflix shows.
