An e-mail sent to ticket holders reads, "Due to Illness, Ms. Elaine Stritch's engagement at The RRazz Room originally scheduled for May 23 through June 10, 2012 has been postponed. New dates will be announced shortly."

Fellow Tony winner Barbara Cook, who is currently playing Feinstein's, will perform during two of the three weeks of Stritch's planned run.

"Barbara Cook's ticket prices are pricing slightly higher than Elaine Stritch's original ticket prices," the e-mail continues. "As a courtesy to all Elaine Stritch ticket holders, we will confirm Barbara Cook tickets for no additional cost as long as you keep your original dates or switch to the same day of the week.   Alternatively, you may continue to hold on to your Elaine Stritch tickets and use them when we announce the new dates."

Elaine Stritch has appeared in a multitude of plays, musicals, films and TV programs. She may be best known to audiences for her performance of "The Ladies Who Lunch" in Stephen Sondheim's 1970 musical Company, her award-winning 2001 one-woman show Elaine Stritch at Liberty, and, more recently, for her role as Jack Donaghy's mother Colleen on NBC's "30 Rock." She has been nominated for the Tony Award four times in various categories, and won for Elaine Stritch at Liberty. She also won an Emmy Award for the TV broadcast of At Liberty. Stritch also received an Emmy Award in 2007 for her appearance on "30 Rock."

Barbara Cook, a 2010 Tony nominee for her performance in Sondheim on Sondheim, has starred on Broadway in Flahooley, Candide, The Gay Life, The Music Man and She Loves Me. She received a Best Featured Actress in a Musical Tony Award for her performance in The Music Man, and her one-woman show, Mostly Sondheim, was nominated for a Tony in the Best Special Theatrical Event category. Cook was also seen on the New York stage in Barbara Cook's Broadway. Both Mostly Sondheim and Barbara Cook's Broadway were recorded for DRG.
