On May 13, Mother's Day, showbiz mother Elizabeth Sullivan will take the stage at the Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room. Sullivan has eight children — all cabaret singers in New York City — including theatre and cabaret star KT Sullivan, currently playing in American Rhapsody at the Triad Theatre, and Heather Sullivan, whose songs have been featured on "The Sopranos." KT, Heather and the other six siblings will all be in town for the show, titled Mother on Many, Mistress of Song. Elizabeth Sullivan, 71, has sung professionally across the nation, but never in New York. Her children will make cameo appearances in the Algonquin show.
The May 13 shows are at 7:30 and 9 PM. Tickets are $50 for the show alone; $100 for the show and dinner. For information, call (212) 840 6800.
