News Encore Broadcasts of Frankenstein, With Olivier Winners Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller, Begin June 1 The National Theatre presents encore National Theatre Live broadcasts of Nick Dear's Frankenstein, featuring Olivier Award joint winners Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller, beginning June 1 in select theatres in the U.S. and Canada.

Directed by Danny Boyle, Frankenstein, based on the Mary Shelley novel of the same name, featured Cumberbatch and Miller alternating in the roles of Victor Frankenstein and the Creature. Frankenstein was filmed twice with the Olivier-winning actors in each role.

National Theatre Live also continues to screen encore broadcasts of Richard Bean's One Man, Two Guvnors, which began May 5 in Canada and May 16 in the U.S. Based on Carlo Goldoni's The Servant of Two Masters, the production, directed by Tony nominee Nicholas Hytner, features 2012 Tony Award nominee James Corden as well as a Tony-nominated score by Grant Olding.

The encore broadcasts of Frankenstein and One Man, which were captured live in March and September of 2011, respectively, conclude the third season of NT Live. The fourth season will begin in the fall; titles and dates will be announced at a later time.
