News Encore Performance of Katie Thompson's Christmas With a "K," With Julia Mattison, MJ Rodriguez, Andrew Kober, Held Dec. 22 Singer-songwriter Katie Thompson, who was seen Off-Broadway in The Public Theater's production of Giant and in the Chicago production of Big Fish, offers a return performance of Christmas with a "K" Dec. 22 at the Duplex.

At the 9:30 PM concert, Thompson is joined by John Ambrosino (Jersey Boys), Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida), Daniel Everidge (Grease, Falling), Andrew Kober (Hair), Erin Quill (Avenue Q), Julia Mattison (Godspell), MJ Rodriguez (Rent), Marissa Rosen (My Big Gay Italian Wedding), Marty Thomas (Wicked, Xanadu) Lael Van Kueren (Sister Act) and Joel Waggoner (Southern Comfort). 

According to press notes, "Katie Thompson sets her sights on Christmas, with a night of carols re-written, standards re-imagined, and New York's finest, funniest voices. Having penned three albums and two-and-a-half musicals, this 'rich-voiced powerhouse' promises to 'put the mayhem back in Bethlehem.'"

Christmas With a "K" was seen at 54 Below Dec. 3. The Duplex concert benefits Toys for Tots.
