The March 9 gala will be held at Twenty Four Fifth (24 Fifth Avenue) in Manhattan. Preeminent arts educator Eric Booth will give the keynote greeting, and Passing Strange's Coleman Domingo will be the evening's auctioneer.
The one-night-only event will begin at 6 PM with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner, live auction and the festivities beginning at 7:30 PM.
Proceeds from the gala will benefit Epic's nationally acclaimed Arts-in-Education programs.
Guare's works include Six Degrees of Separation, The House of Blue Leaves and A.C.T.'s recent Rich and Famous.
Tucci has appeared on Broadway in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Execution of Justice, The Iceman Cometh and The Misanthrope. He earned an Emmy for his work on "Monk" and won Golden Globes for his screen performances in "Conspiracy" and "Winchell." Zak Berkman, Melissa Friedman and Ron Russell are the executive directors of the OBIE-winning Epic Theatre Ensemble. The company's mission is to "create adventurous, provocative, and accessible theatrical events that serve as a centerpiece for a larger public dialogue about vital social issues."
