PlayBlog Equality Happy Hour to be Hosted by Book of Mormon's Rory O'Malley (Video) Broadway Impact, a marriage equality organization, will present an Equality Happy Hour April 4 at 6:30 PM at Therapy, at 348 West 52nd St. in NYC.


Rory O'Malley, from the new Broadway musical The Book of Mormon, will host the event that will discuss topics such as New York State’s marriage bill, The Defense of Marriage Act, California’s Prop 8 and the appeals process, Rhode Island, Maryland and other current topics surrounding marriage equality.

“I’m thrilled that Broadway Impact is bringing together this panel of great minds for an informal evening. With so many developments recently across the country and right here in New York, I think it’s a great chance for people to ask questions and find out how to get involved," O’Malley said in a statement.

Admission to the event is free and is for people ages 21 and over. A complimentary raffle will be held for a chance to win tickets to Broadway’s How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and The Normal Heart.
