Directed by Eric Schaeffer, Spin is based on the film "Speedy Scandal." The musical features a book by Brian Hill and music and lyrics by Neil Bartram. "Faded pop star Evan coasts through life hosting an obscure television show and enjoying meaningless flings," press notes state. "However, when a surprise daughter and grandson arrive on his doorstep, Evan must choose between the gift of family and the glittering appeal of fame. Based on the film 'Speedy Scandal,' Spin is a humorous, charming and heartwarming tale about what really matters in life."
Siglab is a musical development program at Signature which gives writers the opportunity to rehearse their shows for a four-week period with a team of professional actors and designers and see their shows come to life in fully staged productions in front of an audience.
