News Esparza, Benanti, Runolfsson and Schaffel Part of Embrace! Concert to Benefit Matthew Shepard Foundation Taboo's Charles Busch will host a one-night-only concert at the Westside Theatre to benefit The Matthew Shepard Foundation.

Entitled Embrace!, the Feb. 19 evening will boast the talents of Nine's Laura Benanti, Miss Saigon's Hinton Battle, Victor/Victoria's Anne Runolfsson, Jane Eyre's Marla Schaffel, Dance of the Vampire's Max von Essen, Taboo's Raul Esparza, Cabaret's Kate Shindle, Big River's Michael Arden, Falsettos' Janet Metz and Bombay Dreams' Sriram Ganesan. The concert will also feature The Wild Party composer Andrew Lippa and songwriter Randi Driscoll, whose "What Matters" single has raised over $30,000 for the Foundation. Show time is 8 PM. Presented by Michele Helberg, Mark Matukewicz and Jamie McGonnigal, the concert marks the first major New York theatrical event to benefit the Matthew Shepard Foundation. Embrace! will feature direction by Jamie McGonnigal and musical direction by Mat Eisenstein.
