The one-night-only concert will be held at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa, CA. The evening, which will include Lippa's songs performed by the composer and his special guests, will benefit the California Conservatory of the Arts, a non-profit training ground for aspiring artists.
Andrew Lippa has written the scores for the Off-Broadway productions of The Wild Party and john & jen. He also contributed songs to the Broadway revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Lippa's most recent projects include A Little Princess, Asphalt Beach and Jerry Christmas. The composer is the recipient of a Drama Desk Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award and a Grammy nomination.
