Video Eve Ensler and Diane Paulus Evoke a Rainy Day in Africa Onstage at New York City Center Watch highlights from In the Body of the World, Ensler’s new solo play, now in performances Off-Broadway.

Performances are now underway for the Manhattan Theatre Club and American Repertory Theater production of Eve Ensler’s In the Body of the World.

The best-selling author and Tony-winning performer teams up with Tony-winning director Diane Paulus for the stage adaptation of her acclaimed 2013 memoir about working with women in the war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo and being diagnosed with uterine cancer.

In the Body of the World is now playing at New York City Center – Stage I, where it will officially open February 6. The monologue play is written and performed by Ensler (The Vagina Monologues) with direction by Paulus.
