News Eve Will Join Fiennes for Chichester's Cyrano de Bergerac Alice Eve will play Roxanne opposite the Cyrano of the previously announced Joseph Fiennes in the Chichester Festival's upcoming production of the Edmond Rostand classic Cyrano de Bergerac.

As previously reported, Trevor Nunn will direct Cyrano de Bergerac (adapted by Anthony Burgess), which is scheduled to begin performances May 8 prior to an official opening May 14, for a run to May 30 in the Festival Theatre. Actress Eve can currently be seen on screen in "Crossing Over" opposite Harrison Ford and next stars in Paramount's "She's Out of My League." Eve was last seen on the London stage in Tom Stoppard Rock 'n Roll.

Director Nunn and Fiennes previously worked together on Love's Labours Lost at the National Theatre. Fiennes' other theatre credits include John Osborne's Epitaph for George Dillon in the West End and many appearances for the RSC. His films include "Goodbye Bafana" and "Running with Scissors" as well as "The Merchant of Venice," "Enemy at the Gates" and "Shakespeare in Love."
