As devoted theatregoers around the country plan their own parties to celebrate the June 2 Tony Awards telecast, casts, crews and management of Tony-nominated shows and musicals will also take part in the festivities at several New York City hotspots.

The annual Tony bashes for those professionals not attending the actual Radio City Music Hall event generally go past 11 PM in order for nominees attending the live ceremony to come celebrate with their fellow castmates and crew members.

The company of Sweet Smell of Success, one of this season's Best Musical nominees, will party at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, while those connected with Noises Off — a contender for Best Revival of a Play — will be at Jack Rose restaurant. The Fortune's Fool company will celebrate at Playwright, while both Dodgers shows, Urinetown (up for Best Musical) and Into the Woods (up for Best Revival of a Musical), will enjoy Tony night together at Laura Belle. Another Best Revival of a Musical nominee, Oklahoma!, will have some fun at Tahlia.

This year's Pulitzer Prize winner and a nominee for Best Play, Topdog/Underog, will head to the midtown restaurant Marlowe. And, the cast of Thoroughly Modern Millie — nominated for 11 Tony Awards — will make their way to the Park Lane Helmsley Ballroom after the entire cast performs on the Tony telecast and will party until 2 AM.

The revival of Noël Coward's Private Lives, nominated for Best Revival of a Play, will not host a Tony party. Perhaps all its nominees will spend more time at the gala bash following the Awards that is sponsored by the Tony organization. And, unfortunately for fans of the shows, these parties are restricted to cast, crew and management only.
