News Everybody, Rise!, Tribute to Elaine Stritch, Will Feature Betty Buckley, Patti LuPone, Bernadette Peters, Christine Ebersole and More Everybody, Rise! A Celebration of Elaine Stritch, an all-star tribute to the life and career of the late Tony and Emmy-winning actress, will be held Nov. 17 at 4 PM at The Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Constructed by George C. Wolfe, the tribute will feature reminiscences and performances by a host of theatre luminaries, including Bernadette Peters, Patti LuPone, Hal Prince, Betty Buckley, Christine Ebersole, Michael Feinstein and Rob Bowman. Additional participants will be announced in the coming weeks.

Ms. Stritch passed away July 17 at the age of 89.

The Honorary Producing Committee for the celebration includes Chiemi Karasawa, Carol Fineman, Rob Bowman, Hal Prince, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Julie Keyes, Rick Borutta, Mindy Cohn, Joseph Rosenthal, Cheryl Wiesenfeld and Will Gaines.

Everybody, Rise! is made possible in part by support from Jujamcyn Theaters/Jordan Roth and Kinky Boots the Musical and IAC. Additional support is provided by The Nederlander Organization, Lyn and Norman Lear, Ms. Terry Hekker, Steinway & Sons

A percentage of all contributions will be donated to the Elaine Stritch Scholarship Fund at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

The Al Hirschfeld Theatre is located at 302 West 45th Street. A limited number of tickets will be made available to the general public on the day of the event on a first-come, first-served basis. Details on how and when tickets will be available will be released closer to the date of the event.
