News EXCLUSIVE: Playbill.com Gets First Look at Linda Eder Singing "What's Never Been Done Before" From New Album In anticipation of the March 1 release of "Now," the new album that reunites singer-actress Linda Eder with Broadway and pop songwriter Frank Wildhorn, Sony Masterworks offered Playbill Video a first look at a recording-studio video of Eder (Jekyll & Hyde) singing "What's Never Been Done Before" from the Wildhorn musical Camille Claudel.

"Now," the new 12-track all-Wildhorn album, includes "Mad Hatter," a number from the new Broadway musical Wonderland, which has songs by composer Wildhorn and lyricist Jack Murphy. Here's Eder singing "What's Never Been Done Before":

Recording artist Eder, known for her soaring pop voice, is the Drama Desk-winning star of Broadway's Jekyll & Hyde. The release of "Now" marks the musical reunion of Eder and Wildhorn after six years. Produced by Wildhorn, Eder and Jeremy Roberts, the recording will be released in CD and digital formats on March 1.

The album, Wildhorn told Playbill.com earlier this year, is "going to sound like what we did in the late '90s, early 2000s — with a roaring big band and big theatrical ballads and some jazz things and a little bossa nova. It really was the most fun I've had in so long, because there's no better singer…no one sings my stuff like that. She's always the voice in my head when I'm writing. She's always been the muse, so it was just so much fun." Musically, Eder has flirted with Broadway, standards, pop, country and jazz. Her career was launched after she appeared on "Star Search" in the 1987 season (she was the winner for 12 consecutive weeks). That TV success led to a leading role on Broadway as Lucy Harris in Broadway's Jekyll & Hyde, for which she won a Drama Desk Award. Eder began her recording career in 1991 with her self-titled debut album.

The 12 mostly brand-new songs on "Now" feature music by Wildhorn, with lyrics by writers as diverse as Murphy (The Civil War), Leslie Bricusse (Jekyll & Hyde), Don Black (Sunset Boulevard), Nan Knighton (Camille Claudel, The Scarlet Pimpernel) and Maury Yeston (Nine), among others.

Wildhorn and Eder are no longer married, but they share a son and an artistic collaboration. Eder said, "My road led me on a journey of musical growth that allowed me to discover more of who I really am as a singer. I always knew that Frank and I would work together again one day and this album is the result."

Following the release of "Now," Eder will begin a series of concerts that will take her around the country, performing at such prestigious venues as Town Hall in New York and Symphony Hall in Boston.

The track list for "Now" includes:

. Not Gonna Fall This Time
2. No Finer Man
3. Ordinary People
4. The Heat of the Night
5. What Did You See Inside the Stars
6. Now
7. Mad Hatter
