He gives Playbill an exclusive first look with a performance of “Letter from the Refuge,” a new song written for the role of Crutchie in the national tour of Newsies. Keenan-Bolger originated the role in the Broadway production.

Keenan-Bolger's cabaret chronicles the unique and often comedic journey of a young kid performing on Broadway who becomes an adult playing a young kid on Broadway. His songbook ranges from Golden Era classics to contemporary Broadway and includes highlights from his stage roles in the musicals Newsies, Tuck Everlasting, and Mary Poppins.
