Prince sings the holiday classic "I'll Be Home for Christmas" on the 11-track CD, which is now in stores. Produced by Bill Meade with musical direction by David Snyder and original vocal concept by James Raitt, "Holiday in Plaid" includes a mix of holiday songs performed in the traditional Forever Plaid style. "The Plaids" are a fictitious doo-wop, four-part band of the fifties that were created for the original Off-Broadway revue written, directed and choreographed by Stuart Ross. In addition to Prince, the new CD also features the vocals of Bill Akey, Paul Binotto, Jeff Church, David Engel, John-Michael Flate, Amy Fogerson, Phil Gold, Steve Gunderson, Larry Rabin, Amy Ryder, Tami Tappan-Damiano and Michael Winther. Faith Prince won a Tony Award for her performance as Adelaide in the Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls, and this past season she starred Off-Broadway in the Lincoln Center production of A Man of No Importance. Her numerous Broadway credits also include Noises Off, Bells Are Ringing, James Joyce's The Dead, Little Me, The King and I, What's Wrong with This Picture?, Nick & Nora and Jerome Robbins' Broadway. Her solo recording, "Leap of Faith," was recorded live at Joe's Pub and is available from DRG Records.
